Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract role working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active, permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• One professional reference (manager, supervisor, or assistant nurse manager) from work within the past 12 months

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to medical and surgical patients on telemetry monitoring. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, telemetry interpretation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Facility Requirements

• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background check and license verification
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts to pass)
• Pre-start orientation modules (6–15 hours)
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Extensions available up to 18 months; six-month break required thereafter
