Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 24-week contract. You'll work mid shifts (15:00–01:30), four 10-hour days per week, in a dynamic respiratory care environment.
Requirements
- Current Ohio RRT license
- NBRC certification (active, in hand at submission)
- BLS certification (active, in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Willingness to float to multiple facility locations as needed
- Weekend availability
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Nicotine-free (includes all nicotine products)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine test within 12 months of start
- Background check and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
Submission Requirements
To be considered, you must submit:
- Complete work history, including any prior positions at the facility
- Two professional references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director level from assignments in the past 12 months — no peer references)
- Copies of all active certifications
- Interview availability and any requested time off at the time of submission
Additional Information
- Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date
- Contract extensions available up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless the facility approves deferral
- Pre-start modules required (up to 4 billable hours); annual modules may apply if you extend
