Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shift work. You'll provide respiratory care to patients across multiple units, managing a range of acute care needs.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekends: As needed
- Float: May rotate to other facility locations as needed
- Contract Duration: 24 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC Certification (in hand at submission)
- Active BLS Certification (in hand at submission)
- Active Ohio RRT license (in hand at submission)
- Two professional references (manager, supervisor, or director level) from work within the past 12 months
- Negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine testing (within 12 months of start, renewed annually)
- Smoke-free/nicotine-free commitment (no exceptions)
- Background clearance and BCI/FBI prints (completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
What You'll Need to Provide
- Complete work history, including any prior assignments at affiliated facilities
- Copies of all active certifications and licenses
- All scheduling requests and time-off needs communicated at submission and interview
Important Notes
- All certifications must be active—nothing pending
- Annual competency training required for continuous contracts lasting 1+ year
- Contracts may be extended up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless deferred by mutual agreement
