Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift coverage. This is a 12-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekends as needed
- May float to multiple facility locations as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC certification and BLS (required in hand at time of submission)
- Active Ohio RRT license
- Nicotine-free status (facility is smoke-free)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen (plus nicotine) within 12 months of start; annual renewal required
- Two professional references from manager, supervisor, or director (from past 12 months; no peer references)
- Background check clearance; no license hits accepted
- BCI/FBI background prints completed within 48 hours of contract signing
Submission Requirements
- Complete work history must be included in your profile
- Copies of all active certifications required
- All time-off requests and scheduling needs must be communicated at submission and during interview
- Two qualifying professional references required
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter (may be waived by facility approval)
- Annual hands-on competency modules required for continuing contracts
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
