Medical ICU Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for the Medical ICU night shift. This is a fast-paced unit caring for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.

Unit Details

You'll provide direct care to patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The unit manages ventilator-dependent patients and requires strong assessment and hemodynamic monitoring skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour days (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Days per week: 3
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 2, 2026
• Location: Atlanta, GA
