Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Adult) | Rochester, NY | Night Shift | 13 Weeks

This 13-week travel contract places you in a high-acuity adult emergency department managing the full spectrum of emergency diagnoses, including stroke/CVA, neuro-trauma, TBI, spinal cord injury, ortho trauma, drug overdose, acute psychosis, gunshot wounds, and cardiac emergencies.

Shift Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday, as needed
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible

Contract Essentials

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Floating within skillset required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• First-time travelers accepted

Licensure & Certifications Required

• Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; NY is not a Compact state)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS must be included with submission)
• PALS and TNCC preferred

Required Clinical Skills

• IV vasopressors, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy
• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP
• Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation, 12-lead EKG acquisition
• , isolation precautions, management of violent or suicidal patients
• Pediatric spinal cord injury experience a plus

Minimum Experience

• 2 years of emergency department RN experience required
• Electronic health record proficiency required (hard requirement)

Pre-start modules are required and partially billable (up to 5 hours). Time off requests exceeding 10 days will not be considered.
