Travel Dietitian – Outpatient/Clinical Setting | Cartersville, GA
Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 12 weeks

About the Role
This travel Registered Dietitian position is based in an outpatient/clinical setting serving an adult and geriatric patient population. The role focuses on comprehensive nutrition care across a moderate daily caseload, with a self-scheduling format and no on-call requirements.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conducting nutrition assessments and reassessments
- Developing individualized plans of treatment
- Managing enteral nutrition (tube feedings) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
- Performing calorie counts and monitoring intake and output
- Evaluating food-drug interactions
- Providing outpatient/clinic-based nutrition counseling
Schedule & Coverage
- Every-other-weekend coverage required
- No call required
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Holiday work expected per standard assignment policy
Requirements
- Active RD/RDN credential
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Georgia licensure or compact eligibility required
Preferred Background
- Community hospital, LTAC, or similar acute/post-acute setting experience
Important Notes
- All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes post-offer
- Full compliance required prior to start; onboarding documents due the Tuesday before the start date
- 24 orientation hours included
