Float Pool RN – Critical Care / Multi-Unit | Night Shift | Cartersville, GA

Contract: 14 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Start: October 2026

This is a hospital-wide float pool position requiring a clinically versatile RN with ICU experience. You will rotate across multiple units based on census and staffing needs, including the Emergency Department, ER Hold, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU.

Scheduling & Coverage

• Night shift only; no block schedule requests accepted
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Candidate must maintain full scheduling flexibility throughout the contract

Holiday Commitment

Major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day) may fall within your assignment period. Travelers are expected to work up to two holidays per contract.

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Clinical Skills Required

• Arterial line and central line management
• BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator care
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• IV insertion and maintenance
• ETT/NT suctioning
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Details

• Max 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission — no changes accepted post-offer or on-site
• No RTO permitted during orientation week
• Full compliance documentation due the Tuesday prior to start date
• Local candidates accepted
