IV Therapy RN
Position Overview
The facility's IV Therapy Department is seeking an RN to provide specialized infusion services in an acute care setting. This role offers schedule flexibility based on certification level.
Shift & Schedule
- PICC-Certified Candidates: Day shift, 12-hour assignments (6am–6pm or 7am–7pm)
- Non-PICC-Certified Candidates: Rotating shifts, 12-hour assignments
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Responsibilities
- Insert and manage peripheral inserted central catheters (PICCs)
- Perform guided ultrasound procedures for line placement
- Provide comprehensive IV therapy and infusion management
- Support acute care patients across multiple units
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- PICC certification preferred (unlocks day-shift schedule option)
- Valid, unexpired driver's license
- Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Must submit driver's license copy with application
