Cath Lab RN – Charleston, SC
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment. You'll work days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) in a high-volume interventional cardiology setting, with 7–9 on-call days monthly (at least one weekend included). Guaranteed 36 hours weekly.
Clinical Scope
This cath lab performs approximately 10 cases daily across two labs. You'll support a range of procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), permanent pacemaker (PPM) insertion, Impella support, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management. Strong emergency medication knowledge and proficiency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring are essential.
Requirements
- RN license (required)
- Cath lab experience (mandatory)
- Advanced skills in emergency medications and acute patient management
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
