Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a step-down setting with moderate to high-acuity patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to PCU patients
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support patients and families with education and emotional support
What You'll Need
- Current RN license (NC)
- PCU or step-down unit experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and teamwork
