Registered Nurse
Interventional Radiology / Angiography — Travel RN or Tech | Savannah, GA
This is a high-acuity interventional radiology position within a busy angiography suite comprising two dedicated IR labs and a hybrid OR. The unit manages a complex, high-volume patient population including stroke, trauma, and cardiovascular cases.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30)
- Call required
- No float requirement
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
The IR team functions in 3–4 person teams (2 RNs, 2 Techs) performing a wide range of procedures, including:
- Permcath and port placement
- Thrombectomy and atherectomy
- TVAR, EVAR, TIPS
- PE intervention
- Stroke and trauma intervention
Required Experience & Certifications
- Prior Angio/IR experience required
- Critical care background (ICU or ER) required
- Critical care drip management skills essential
- ACLS and BLS required
Preferred Credentials (RN or Tech)
- RN with IR/cath lab background
- ARRT/RTR or RCIS (tech candidates)
Dress Code
- RNs: Royal blue and black
- Techs: Navy blue and black
