Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Acute Care

Position Overview

The facility seeks experienced RNs to join its Medical-Surgical Acute Care/Observation unit. You'll provide direct patient care across a diverse patient population, including post-operative orthopedic patients, those undergoing hybrid catheterization lab procedures, and patients with acute and chronic illnesses. This is a hands-on clinical role using the nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week with weekend rotation required
• Call rotation: one shift per 2-week period (in place of guaranteed hours that week, as needed)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 27, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar setting
• Current Colorado RN license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current flu vaccine (no exemptions; can be administered on-site if needed prior to deadline)

Additional Requirements

• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Colorado CAPS registration may be required (can take up to two weeks)
