Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN – Medical Surgical / Observation | Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week contract places a Licensed Practical Nurse primarily on Medical Surgical and Observation units, with occasional floating to other Med-Surg areas, including Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, and Cardiac units.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Clinical Expectations

• Manage a patient load of up to 5 patients under RN oversight
• Telemetry reading proficiency is required and will be assessed on day one — candidates who do not pass this competency will not be retained
• IV certification is required

Requirements

• Active Ohio LPN license
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based experience
• IV certification

Additional Notes

• Start date: November 16th (this is the only available start date)
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the 13-week contract
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after confirmation cannot be guaranteed
