Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN – Medical/Surgical | Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 16th | Hours: 36/week

This travel LPN role is based on a Medical Surgical/Observation unit with float responsibilities across multiple med-surg specialties, including Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation units.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract period

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of up to 5 patients under RN oversight
• Read and interpret telemetry (competency assessed on Day 1 — candidates who do not pass will not continue)
• Float between various med-surg specialty units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN license
• Active BLS certification
• IV certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based LPN experience
• Demonstrated electronic medical record proficiency — must be independently competent; no refresher or guided orientation is available
• Telemetry reading competency

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be accommodated
