Cardiovascular ICU – 12-Hour Day Shift
The Opportunity
Join a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU managing the most complex cardiac patients in the area. This is an extremely busy, fast-paced environment where strong cardiac experience is essential. You'll care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hemodynamically unstable patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions—everything in the cardiovascular spectrum except transplants.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour days: 7 AM – 7 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- 42-week contract
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong cardiovascular nursing experience
What to Know
The facility is transitioning to a new charting system in November 2026. The hospital's cancellation policy allows up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for shorter assignments).
