ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA
Contract: 13 weeks | Start: October 26, 2026
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36–48 hours per week guaranteed
This ICU position offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity critical care in a well-established acute care facility in Southern California's Ventura County. The unit manages a diverse critical care patient population, requiring strong clinical assessment skills, independent judgment, and the ability to coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized patient care plans
- Supervise and delegate to nursing staff across varying experience levels
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary teams
- Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning
- Promote patient safety and a healing care environment
Requirements:
- Active RN license (California or compact)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU or acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- BSN preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation required
- Must be willing to work one major holiday; one holiday off may be approved
