ICU Registered Nurse | Simi Valley, CA | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is in a Southern California ICU, offering high-acuity care in a collaborative clinical environment. The unit manages complex patient populations requiring advanced assessment, critical thinking, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36–48 hours per week guaranteed
• Must be available to work holidays (one holiday off may be approved)
• Start date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to critically ill patients
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate to nursing team members as appropriate

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (California or compact, per state requirements)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Electronic health record proficiency required

Additional Details

• BSN preferred
• Must meet facility vaccination requirements (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
