ICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract working night shifts in a high-acuity intensive care setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour nights: 19:00–07:00
• Weekend coverage required
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Floating required within the ICU and to other areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in South Carolina (active at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed for flu only)

Clinical Scope

You'll manage complex, critically ill patients including those with cardiac and respiratory arrests, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, stroke, trauma, GI bleeding, COPD exacerbation, and overdose. Clinical responsibilities include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial and central line care, continuous IV sedation and vasoactive drip titration, ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP support, EVD drain care, CRRT, targeted temperature management, and acute stroke interventions.

• Locals within 50-mile radius accepted
• Time off requests minimized in first two weeks; all RTO must be pre-approved
• Expect weekend and holiday work
