Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 13, 2026. You will deliver direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, with potential to float to related units to support the same patient population.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 | Night: 19:00–07:30)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will work to honor your preference when possible
• Mandatory coverage: at least every other holiday
• Weekend work expected

Clinical Scope

You'll care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry surveillance in a med/surg setting. Responsibilities include assessment, patient education, medication administration, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

• 12 months permanent nursing experience in med/surg telemetry
• Active Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA/American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• One professional reference from a current or past manager, ANM, or supervisor in the specialty (within the past 12 months)

Pre-Placement Requirements

• Background check and drug screening
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions reviewed)

Extension Opportunity

Eligible to extend for up to 18 months with a required break period thereafter.
