Medical/Surgical/Respiratory Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Wichita, KS
This contract position is on a private-room medical/surgical/respiratory unit, caring for a diverse adult patient population across general medical, surgical, and respiratory diagnoses. The unit provides an active clinical environment suited to nurses comfortable managing varied acuity.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (4 x 12 nights)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: October 18, 2026
- Every other weekend required

- Valid RN license (Nursys verification)

Onboarding Requirements
- Core competencies assessment
- EKG exam
- Point-of-care glucose testing competency
- Color vision assessment
- Health documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Fit Test, Health Statement
- Background check, drug screen (11-panel), EPLS
- Education and employment verification
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in medical/surgical or respiratory nursing
- Comfortable with EKG interpretation and point-of-care testing
- Able to work every other weekend
