Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract. You'll support a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical program in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts, rotating days and evenings
- Shift options: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | 9:00 AM–7:30 PM | 11:00 AM–9:30 PM
- Weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities
- No block scheduling
- Must work every other major holiday
Clinical Scope
You'll scrub in for a diverse range of specialties: General Surgery, Gynecology, Plastics, Urology, Orthopedics (total joints and sports medicine), Podiatry, Vascular, and Endoscopy. Experience with the Da Vinci Surgical System and Mako Robot is required.
Requirements
- Active NBSTSA/NCCT or AST certification
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1+ year of specialty surgical experience
- Documented travel experience (first-time travelers not considered)
- Two recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
- Current flu vaccine during season
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
- Return-to-Origin (RTO) commitment required at submission
