Surgical Services – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility's surgical services department seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist to join a high-volume OR handling diverse surgical specialties. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting general, trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, vascular, neuro, thoracic, bariatric, GYN, GU, oral, otolaryngology, plastics, podiatry, spine, robotic, and pediatric cases.
Schedule & Duration
- 12-hour shifts
- Weekend nights: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- One additional 12-hour weekday shift
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Holidays as needed
- Part-time weekend-night-only positions available
Requirements
- 3+ years of inpatient surgical experience
- Trauma surgery experience required
- NBSTSA certification (required; no alternatives accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Competency in at least 5 of the surgical specialties listed above
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and positive attitude
