Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care on a telemetry unit. You will supervise and direct nursing staff activities, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and apply critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient health data to identify care needs and nursing diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable outcomes
- Supervise and delegate duties to nursing team members
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor telemetry systems and respond to cardiac changes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- RN licensure in California (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor (required)
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety certification (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
- Current experience with electronic health records required
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 or 48-hour weeks)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
