Medical-Surgical RN — Travel Contract | Boston, MA

This 14-week contract places you on a dynamic Med-Surg unit in Boston, MA, requiring the flexibility to float and adapt across different acute care settings. The unit serves a general medical-surgical patient population with moderate to high acuity.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, and phlebotomy
• Must demonstrate telemetry competency on Day 1 (85% or better required)
• Ability to float and adapt quickly to different units

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of nursing experience
• Preceptor experience a plus

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (current)
• Active Massachusetts RN license required prior to start

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be classified as local and compensated at the local rate.
