Med-Surg Ortho/Neuro RN — Travel Contract | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week travel nursing assignment places you primarily on a Med-Surg Ortho/Neuro unit, with occasional float coverage to other Med-Surg areas including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation units.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Start date: November 16th

Clinical Scope

You'll care for orthopedic and neurological patients in a fast-paced med-surg environment, with cross-coverage across diverse patient populations including oncology, cardiac, and stroke. Telemetry monitoring is a core expectation — candidates must demonstrate the ability to read telemetry independently; this skill will be assessed on day one.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records — proficiency must be current and independently verified; on-site training or one-on-one orientation is not available
• Active BLS certification required
• Telemetry competency will be formally evaluated at start; inability to pass may result in early contract termination

Additional Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the 13-week contract
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be accommodated
