Cardiac / Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Zanesville, OH
13-Week Travel Contract | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
This position is primarily based on a cardiac telemetry unit with occasional float coverage across Medical-Surgical units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder areas.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week, 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the 13-week contract period
- Start date: November 16, 2026 — no flexibility on this date
Required Certifications
- Active BLS and ACLS
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown RN experience
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips — competency will be assessed on day one; inability to pass will result in immediate termination
- Proficiency in a major inpatient EMR system is required and will be verified — candidates who cannot demonstrate this will not be considered; on-site training or refresher support is not available
Clinical Scope
The cardiac unit manages telemetry-monitored patients requiring stepdown-level care. Float assignments may include post-stroke patients, oncology, wound care, respiratory, and observation populations.
Candidates must have all requested time off identified prior to submission, as post-confirmation additions cannot be accommodated.
