Med Surg

Medical-Surgical / Respiratory RN — Zanesville, OH

13-Week Contract | Days | 36 hrs/week

This position is based primarily on a Respiratory unit that manages patients with respiratory illness, including COVID-19, with occasional floating to other Med-Surg units covering Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Start Date

• November 16th is the only available start date for candidates who have not worked at this facility within the past 9 months.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry — candidates will be tested on day one; inability to pass the competency will result to termination
• Proficiency with an electronic medical record system is required and must be documented at submission; no on-site refresher training is available

Additional Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract period
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and documented at the time of submission; RTO added after confirmation cannot be guaranteed
