Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Med-Surg | Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week travel RN contract is based on a Respiratory unit serving patients with complex respiratory illness, including COVID-19. Nurses will occasionally float to additional Med-Surg units covering Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Start Date

• November 16th (non-negotiable for new travelers to this facility)

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry — competency will be assessed on day one
• Proficiency with an electronic medical records system is required; no refresher or on-site training will be provided, so candidates must be independently proficient prior to arrival

Contract Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the 13-week contract period
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be accommodated

This role is well-suited for experienced Telemetry or Stepdown nurses who are comfortable in a fast-paced respiratory environment and confident working across diverse Med-Surg specialties.
