Travel RN – Medical/Surgical | Englewood, CO

Nights | 13-Week Contract

This night-shift Med/Surg position is based on a busy inpatient medical unit in Englewood, Colorado, caring for a diverse patient population requiring skilled nursing across a range of acute conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Unit Overview

The unit is a fast-paced medical floor that values strong teamwork and a positive, adaptable attitude. Nurses work alongside charge nurses and patient care technicians in a collaborative environment.

Common Procedures & Clinical Focus

• Wound care and wound vac management
• CIWA assessments
• Heparin drip management
• Telemetry monitoring
• Enteral nutrition support

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage a higher-acuity patient load
• Strong time management skills
• BLS certification (required)

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is comfortable in a high-volume environment, confident managing multiple patients simultaneously, and thrives in a team-oriented setting. Candidates with experience carrying a larger patient assignment are strongly preferred.
