Med Surg

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical | Englewood, CO

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Start Date: November 2, 2026

This busy medical/surgical unit specializes in caring for complex patient populations, including spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical flap intervention, and low-acuity burn patients managed in partnership with the facility's burn unit. RNs on this floor thrive in a fast-paced environment where clinical expertise and compassionate, hands-on care are equally valued.

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• Wound care, including surgical flap management
• Occasional bowel program
• Light burn care
• Telemetry monitoring

Shift Staffing:

• Day shift: charge nurse, bedside RNs, and patient care technicians
• Night shift: charge nurse, bedside RNs, and support staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• Experience with spinal cord injury patients (preferred)
