This Medical/Surgical unit provides care for a diverse adult patient population in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Nurses work alongside a consistent charge nurse and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts.
Clinical Scope
- Wound care and wound vac management
- CIWA assessments
- Heparin drip management
- Telemetry monitoring
- Enteral feeding via kangaroo pumps
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current, hospital-based Med/Surg RN experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience managing a patient load of 6 or more preferred
- Strong time management and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
