Travel RN – Neuro Med/Surg | Englewood, CO

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This Neuro Med/Surg unit specializes in the care of neurological patients, with a strong focus on stroke, seizure, and complex neuro conditions. Nurses on this unit perform NIH and neuro assessments, stroke protocol care, fall risk evaluations, trach care, and feeding tube management. The unit follows AANN Neuro Clinical Practice Guidelines for stroke.

What to Expect:

• Day shift includes charge nurse coverage and PCT support

• Patients commonly require seizure monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP, and IV therapy

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS certification
• Neuro nursing experience
• Familiarity with AANN stroke guidelines
