13-Week Travel Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
This Med/Surg Oncology unit is a well-established, highly organized floor with a strong culture of patient safety and quality care. The team of 20 staff members brings deep collective experience, and the unit has maintained an outstanding infection control record — over three years without a CAUTI, over a year without a C. diff acquired infection, and a recent Daisy Award recipient on staff.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Self-scheduling; travelers are expected to work every other weekend
Clinical Scope
- Chemotherapy administration
- Med/Surg Oncology patient population
- Compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or Oncology hospital RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification
- Prior oncology experience
