Travel RN — Acute Rehabilitation Unit | Englewood, CO
Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract
This acute rehabilitation unit provides high-quality restorative nursing care for a patient population that is motivated, engaged, and working hard to return home. The unit manages a diverse caseload including stroke rehabilitation, neuro recovery, orthopedic, and trauma-related cases, while also responding to acute medical events with support from a rapid response and stroke team.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
- Medication administration (primarily PO, some IV)
- Central line dressing changes, wound care, wet-to-dry dressings, and wound vac management
- Catheter and peri-care, blood administration, pain management
- Neuro checks, stroke rehabilitation care, telemetry monitoring, and blood glucose checks
- Safe patient ambulation and toileting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or Rehabilitation RN experience
- BLS required
- Preferred: experience in rehab, orthopedic, neuro, or trauma nursing
