Travel RN – Cardiac ICU | Englewood, CO | 13-Week Contract

Join a collaborative Cardiac ICU team in the Denver metro area. This is a day-shift position running 05:00–17:00, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 13-week contract with a start date of November 16, 2026.

Unit Overview

The Cardiac ICU manages complex, high-acuity patients including cardiac, neurological, and medical ICU populations. The unit benefits from 24/7 intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon coverage, ensuring strong physician support at all times.

Clinical Scope

• Common procedures: intubations and central line placement
• Equipment used includes cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
• Low nurse-to-patient ratios support safe, high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience (required)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neuro or medical ICU patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and Swan management
