Neuro ICU – Travel RN | Englewood, CO

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Neuro CCU/ICU position offers night shift coverage (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, 12-hour shifts) in a specialized neurological critical care environment. The unit manages complex, high-acuity neuro patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention.

Unit Overview

The unit provides comprehensive neurocritical care, including management of patients requiring mechanical ventilation, intracranial pressure monitoring, and temperature regulation. Nurses work alongside a structured team including a charge RN and patient care technician each shift.

Common Procedures

• Intubation support
• Central line placement
• External ventricular drain (EVD) and lumbar drain (LD) management
• Licox catheter placement
• Continuous EEG monitoring
• Temperature management (cooling protocols)
• Cardiac monitoring

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current ICU experience (required)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• Neuro population experience (preferred)

Contract Details

• Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026
