Registered Respiratory Therapist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Respiratory Services department is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll join a clinically recognized program serving a diverse patient population across critical care, adult acute care, neonatal, and pediatric units.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend Requirements: Varying weekends (minimum 4 shifts per 6-week schedule)
- Floating: All critical care units and floors
Clinical Scope
You'll provide respiratory support across multiple service lines, including post-operative cardiac cases, stroke management, neonatal/pediatric care, and general critical care. Your scope includes ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation, and high-flow oxygen therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- 5+ years of respiratory therapy experience
Preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
