Surgical Services Nurse – Operating Room
Position Overview
Clinical Scope
You'll support a high-volume OR with a diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, surgical oncology, gynecology, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, urology, podiatry, and colorectal procedures. The facility maintains a large robotics program; robotic surgery experience is preferred and highly valued.
Staffing & Schedule
- Day shift with 24-hour in-house OR coverage
- Rotating on-call: typically 2 eight-hour shifts per month
- No floating to other units required
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- OR nursing experience required
- Robotic surgery background preferred
