Operating Room RN — Travel Contract | Glens Falls, NY

Shift: Days, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: Late October 2026

This busy surgical unit covers all major specialties — including vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT — with the exception of cardiac and ophthalmology. The OR also provides coverage for Labor & Delivery C-sections. The patient population spans pediatric through adult.

Clinical Scope:

• Circulating primary role; scrub experience is a strong plus
• Pre- and post-operative patient assessment and education
• Maintenance of a sterile and safe surgical environment
• Coordination of care throughout the full surgical continuum

Scheduling:

• No weekends required
• On-call: approximately 1 call shift per month if needed

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of current OR experience
• Float experience in vascular, ortho, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT
• Prior travel experience
• Scrub and circulate experience
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• New York RN license
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
• Must have a personal vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
