Registered Nurse

Observation Unit / Med-Surg | Travel RN | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week contract places you primarily on an Observation unit, with float responsibilities to Med-Surg units covering Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and similar patient populations. Candidates with appropriate ED experience may also be asked to float there.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Call is a rare occurrence

Start Date: November 16th (firm — no alternative start dates available)

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience
• Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; competency will be assessed on day one

• Active BLS (required)
• Active ACLS (required)

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the contract; cancelled hours are not limited to full 12-hour shifts
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission to be honored

This role is best suited for a confident, experienced RN who is independently proficient and comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-unit float environment.
