Medical-Surgical Telemetry — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks a registered nurse for its medical-surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry management on a busy night shift.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Required Qualifications

• 12 months of permanent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at submission)
• NIHSS certification required before start
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from assignments within the past 12 months; Charge RN references accepted)
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

Clinical Skills

• ECG rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Proficiency with telemetry systems and cardiac monitoring

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Negative 10-panel drug screen (within 12 months of start; updated annually)
• BCI/FBI background clearance (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available)
