Med/Surg Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract
About the Role
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its medical/surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide care to patients on continuous cardiac monitoring, manage a dynamic patient population, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preference
- Required to work every other holiday
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: November 13, 2026
Float & Cross-Training
You may float to other units caring for similar patient populations to support facility needs.
Requirements
- License: Permanent Ohio license or current compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in medical/surgical nursing or telemetry
- Certifications (active and current): BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- References: One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director required (from assignments within the past 12 months; peer references not accepted)
- Assessments: You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; a passing score on both is required (two attempts maximum)

- BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
