Telemetry Registered Nurse — Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week contract places you in a telemetry unit in Southern California, caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and coordinated interdisciplinary care. The position follows a day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and respond to telemetry data across a varied cardiac and medical patient population
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including discharge planning for care continuity
• Provide patient and family education and health information throughout the care episode
• Delegate appropriately to ancillary nursing staff

Schedule Details

• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36-hour guaranteed workweek (3x12 or 4x12 available)
• Holiday RTO will not be approved for this assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (California or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• Electronic health record proficiency required
• BSN preferred
