Registered Nurse – Telemetry | Simi Valley, CA
This telemetry position is located in the Simi Valley area of Southern California — a suburban community offering easy access to hiking, beaches, and the greater Los Angeles metro.
Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (days)
- Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week (3 or 4 shifts)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care plan development, and outcome evaluation. The role requires strong critical thinking and independent clinical judgment. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide patient and family education, and participate in discharge planning.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license in California
- BLS (from an approved vendor)
- ACLS (from an approved vendor)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
- BSN preferred
- Electronic health record experience required
