Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care on the telemetry unit. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe, quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- 36 or 48-hour work weeks
- 13-week contract
- Holiday rotation time off will not be approved
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data; identify diagnoses and care needs
- Develop individualized care plans and implement evidence-based interventions
- Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels
- Coordinate care delivery across disciplines
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and manage team member duties
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
- ACLS certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
