Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract

This telemetry unit provides care for cardiac and neurologically complex patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The unit requires nurses who are confident in continuous monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and rapid response to changes in patient status.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Location: Simi Valley, CA

Clinical Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to guide care planning
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Coordinate care across disciplines and participate in discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Delegate appropriately and supervise nursing team members
• Maintain a safe, healing, and patient-centered care environment

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN licensure in California
• BLS certification (approved vendor)
• ACLS certification (approved vendor)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Minimum two years of recent acute care experience
• Prior telemetry experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirements

• Electronic health records proficiency required
• Scrub color: confirm upon placement
