RN – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care for telemetry patients. You will supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 or 48-hour weeks available
- Day shift
- 13-week contract
- Holidays: Rotating time off required
Clinical Scope
- Assess and analyze patient health data to identify diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans for telemetry patients
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team in a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
- Delegate and supervise nursing team members
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
