Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract
A Southern California facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract beginning late October 2026.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours: 36–48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
- Nights; holiday RTO will not be approved
Unit Overview
This telemetry unit delivers coordinated care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Nurses manage comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and actively participate in discharge planning. The role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to supervise and delegate to other nursing staff.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license in California
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care telemetry experience
- BSN preferred
- Prior experience with electronic health record documentation required
Additional Requirements
- Float within scope may be required
- Vaccination compliance per facility policy; medical and religious exemptions may apply
- Scrub color: confirm with recruiter
