Registered Nurse – Telemetry | Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week contract position is for a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry unit in Simi Valley, California, with a start date of late October 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Clinical Scope

The unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring for patients requiring telemetry-level care. Nurses are responsible for assessing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating discharge planning. The role involves supervising and delegating to other nursing staff and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• Proficiency with electronic health records is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior telemetry or cardiac step-down experience
